ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

(ABOUT)

In a country where 95% of water sources are polluted, where the Motagua River alone contributes 2% of global ocean plastic, and where practices like burning trash are still common, the challenge is massive, but so is the opportunity.

At Nueva Narrativa, we believe no amount of cleanup can match the urgency or the long-term impact of educating people. That’s why we focus on transformational environmental education: not just awareness, but habit change, community ownership, and a new culture of care.

This is how Guatemala can become known not just for the scale of its waste crisis, but for how quickly and effectively its people came together to solve it.
